Loving this fantastic game, but since the recent update it always crashes on start up. Please fix it, 5 stars again then

I played this to death and back. I often wished for a map generator and a whole bunch of user preference settings for total numbers of units or types for each side - I guess I should have moved on to StarCraft or Red Alert but this one kept me enthralled. In lieu of new maps and new challenges I would often play until the win was almost guaranteed and then roll my forces back, all advanced units or mixed characters or some other combination and then wait for the computer to take back over half the board at the highest tech level and then the game would start. I hope that two handed play is coming back as well as more levels.

aaa i must that when i saw that this game was out a website, i first tough it couldnt be THE Z.... cause you know... Z can be pretty generic. BUT that aside you get the good ol game from 1996. overall review: great gameplay, fairly simple for a neophyte to learn in a flash, capture bases/ territories and build units from them, capture vehicules and grenade creates and destroy the enemys base!! the game dosent take itself seriously for a second, its full of jokes and ... well jokes get it? now the only bad side.... the controls... well its not THAT bad, just that you cant zoom out so its quitte anoying when trying to command. but i must say that they made a great systeme with the touch screen and the minimap. i would have put 5 stars if only you could zoom out it would have been PERFECT!!! so uh yea to conclude, its pretty much a must get, Z will now follow you everywhere, great RTS even now!

It is about time this game was recognized for its worth and rereleased. I loved it 15yrs ago and I still love it; still waiting on steal soldiers release and a sequel to that to finish the cliff hangar ending!

Cant get past the title screen

This is my favorite game since it was introduced in 90s, but Im very disappointed that multiplayer was not added to this version.

Well I really was expecting something better about this game. Im actually playing it in French and the traduction is just funny to read. It doesnt make a n y sense… ! When theres text, characters are really too small to be clearly readable. So forget the Help, you will need a microscope to read it. And well, because you have to forget the Help section, forget also to know how to play, because this is where everything is explained. Im playing Z The Game on an iPhone 4S. My opinion is that, theres too many options for the size the screen to understand what you are really doing when you press somewhere on the battlefield. Sometime, I just want to move a unit and theres another action happening in the game. Honestly, take this game on the Mac App Store, it will be better than on an iOS device. Because even at 0.99$, this is to expensive for this… thing!

Great game used to play it all the time when i was 10

This was my first PC game that I played at the 90s, lots of memories coming back when I played this game again after 15 years+! This was such a creative and high quality game, I am so glad to have a chance to play this game again with my iPad!

I played the original Z in 1996, and I can say it has been adapted amazingly well for the I-Pad! You find the same visceral fun that was present in the original game without fumbling with the controls, it is very intuitive! Two thumbs up! Although the developer seem shy in letting know the game exists : i was searching for something else when the game appeared in my search results...

It does not work. It crashes when i want to start the game pls its my favorite game from many years ago.....fix it (ipad2) plssss

Sadly, bad remake of great game. Too small elements of GUI and some bugs are ruining gameplay. - I just cant click on slider when im picking up unit in factory. Button is too small. - Poor balance between vehicles and troops is not same as in original "Z" from 1996.
